Description:

Duties: Assist the regional editor with copy editing articles. They would conduct interviews with industry insiders like booking agents and recording engineers. They would also assist in booking sponsored concerts, create calendar listings, log-in CD submissions and post content to the web.

Requirements:A min. of 10 hrs per week in Editorial

Department.(Max. of 40hrs/wk). Acceptable

candidate will be a strong writer who can meet deadlines and

has a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications:Strong Writing/Journalism background and

familiarity with Chicago Style Manual, AP or equivalent. Music

background preferred but not necessary.

Performer Publications, Inc (www.performermag.com) is the

largest Musicians' Trade Magazine in the US. Performer

Magazine, "The Musician's Resource," publishes 3 monthly

regional magazines which are dedicated to covering all

genres of independent music.
