Duties: Assist the Managing Editor in editorial content production and writing of magazine sections that appear in 3 monthly regional music publications (West Coast Performer Magazine, Southeast Performer Magazine, and Northeast Performer Magazine), including gear reviews, national news, obituaries and more. National Editorial Assistant will also find opportunities to write live and album reviews as available and possible larger Spotlight and Feature stories. Assist with copyediting. Continual management of national database (venues, studios, labels, promotions, etc..,). Applicants with exposure to working bands and musicians or industry mechanics are highly preferred.

Requirements: A min. of 10 hrs per week at the office (Max. of 40hrs/wk).

Qualifications: Strong writing background. Knowledge of general trends in local and national music scenes.

candidate will be a strong writer who can meet deadlines and

Qualifications:Strong Writing/Journalism background and

include but here are a couple: bookkeeping, IT, HR, magazine Distribution, client services, property management, reviewing ad copy, copy editing, web publishing. No two days are the same. No photocopying, going to the Post

Office or getting coffee.

Qualifications:Current Undergraduates in Liberal Arts or

Management. Comfortable in a very fast paced environment.

Qualifications: Knowledge of Adobe CS 3.0, Macromedia Studio, Dreamweaver & Contribute is recommended. Knowledge of Flash is not required.
