We write original material, and do a few covers (Pantera, Neil Young, Thrice, Black Sabbath, and Nirvana). We have a professionally-recorded 8-song demo (Goldentone Records), solid gear and transportation, connections to the Boston metal scene, and experience working and touring as a band.
Our influences include The Allman Brothers, Pantera, Neil Young, Killswitch Engage, Unearth, Tool, Meshuggah, As I Lay Dying, The Grateful Dead, old Metallica, Pink Floyd, Thrice, and many others. Basically, we have a REALLY heavy groove that's sometimes brutal and pounding, sometimes bluesy and smooth, and sometimes both. We're starting a new band. We are guitar, Patrick-26 and drums, Alex-23. We have two songs that we're really excited about. I could defiantly hear them on the radio. We want to write the rest as a band with your input.
We have heavy rock choruses with metal (not thrash) for the rest of the songs. The songs have groove that you can move to. Some of the band we sound like are Tool, Alice in Chains, early Pantera like vulgar and far beyond driven the groove driven songs. One of the songs has a Maiden harmony line and it would be cool to have some of that in other songs.
