The newest release from Gibson, the limited edition Gibson Robot Guitar, is the world's first guitar utilizing robotic technology to eliminate common tuning problems. Its system is geared toward standard A440 tuning, with six altered tuning presets, as well as a data-transmitting tailpiece, tunecontrol bridge and lightweight Powerhead- Locking tuners with a motorized, high-performance gearbox. Its master control knob provides an onboard interface that maintains all functionality from 11 different positions. The guitar preserves the same feel and sound of a regular Gibson USA Les Paul. Its Powertune System requires no external plug-ins and is remains virtually invisible. The Gibson Robot Guitar can charge power through a discrete, built-in unit with a quarter-inch guitar cable, and comes with a rechargeable battery pack equipped for over 200 tunings.
